Agnes Cynthia Amoding

Agnes Cynthia Amoding, originally from Uganda, is a passionate legal professional with a focus on social justice advocacy, refugee law and international law. She has a strong background in legal practice with grassroots social justice entities and refugee organisations in Uganda. Internationally, she has served as a Next Generation Fellow invited by the United Nations Secretary-General to advise on his Our Common Agenda Initiative as well as a Young Justice Leader at Pathfinders for Peace, Justice and Inclusive Societies at New York University, advocating for people-centred justice, among others. Cynthia was featured in the Global Space Transformers live trailblazer at Peace One Day in London. 

Her strong passion for social justice led her to serve with German refugee organisations helping refugees and asylum seekers navigate their rights and integrate in a new environment. 

Motivation for Joining the RAB

Cynthia is looking forward to making a tangible impact by providing expert advice on refugee policy and rights, as well as using this opportunity to deepen her understanding of refugee integration strategies through active participation and collaboration with fellow board members and all stakeholders.
