Rethinking Germany’s Development Policy in a Changing Global Landscape
Majdi Laktinah, member of the Refugee Advisory Board Germany (RAB Germany), recently participated in the dialogue “Zukunft zusammen global gestalten – die Reform der deutschen Entwicklungspolitik”, hosted by German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Reem Alabali Radovan.
The exchange focused on the future of German development policy in a shifting international context, highlighting the importance of strong partnerships, a reliable multilateral system and effective global cooperation. The discussion between Minister Alabali-Radovan and chair of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer addressed key questions around ongoing reform efforts and Germany’s role in shaping international collaboration.
The event offered an opportunity to engage with current policy debates and reflect on approaches to more inclusive and sustainable global cooperation.
RAB Germany thanks the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for the invitation and for creating space for this important exchange.
