Sharing Perspectives on World Refugee Day 

To mark World Refugee Day 2026, Nyima Jadama, member of the Refugee Advisory Board Germany (RAB Germany), host of Nyimas Bantaba and the "Unfiltered Podcast", invited fellow RAB Germany members Lehaz Aldarf and Ahmad Hawarnah, alongside Günther Schulze, founder of the "Willkommen Bündnis Steglitz-Zehlendorf", for a special conversation broadcast on ALEX Berlin. 

The conversation covered displacement, rights, participation and global responsibility, bringing together perspectives from refugee representatives and local welcome initiatives. The guests also shared insights into the work of RAB Germany and the role of community-based initiatives in supporting refugees and fostering participation. 

It provided an opportunity to reflect on the importance of creating spaces where people with different experiences and perspectives can engage in open dialogue. By bringing refugee voices into public discussion, such platforms help raise awareness of the realities of displacement and highlight the importance of participation in shaping responses to refugee-related challenges.
